Musa Gives His Nod To Fifa Naming Messi Man Of The Match

The 21 - year - old netted his first pair of goals at the World Cup, registering his name on the score - sheet in the 4th and 47th minute of the encounter at Estadio Beira-Rio (Jose Pinheiro Borda).
“I think the fans know who was better at the start. But I think the choice of Messi was well chosen.
“We are very happy. We lost the game, but we know that it is not so easy to move from this stage.
“We hope to get very far and we want to honor our fans who are in the stadium and at home,”the winger was quoted as saying by TV Globo.
Ahmed Musa could overtake Kalu Uche and Daniel Amokachi as Nigeria’s top scorer at the World Cup if he adds to his tally next Monday in the second round.
The three attackers are currently level on two goals, with Musa being the only active National Team player.
