Patrick Mboma Warns France Team About Emenike, Musa
Published: June 28, 2014
Retired Cameroon National Teamer, Patrick Mboma, a member of the Dream Team of Radio Monte Carlo Sport, says the France squad should be wary of the Super Eagles side when both teams face off on Monday in Brasilia.
Being an African himself, the former Paris Saint-Germain reckons that the weather could play a crucial role in the outcome of the encounter, with the game scheduled to start early afternoon at 1300 hours local time, which should favor the Nigerians.
“Nigeria is a team that knows what it’s like playing in the heat, earlier in the day. They are very fast to play against. I could mention Ahmed Musa or the strength of an Emmanuel Emenike.
“There will be heavy physical duels they will end up winning. We must be afraid but the team of France has the means to succeed,” Mboma said.
In preparation for the contest with the 1998 champions, the Super Eagles trained on Friday evening, few minutes after arriving Brasilia.
