Supreme Court FC Finish On High, Set For League Battle

Nigeria National League campaigners, Supreme Court FC of Abuja ended their outing at the just concluded Gold World Cup Break tournament among top finishers, a performance that put their hope of waxing stronger in the league back on track.
The Abuja-based side recorded two outstanding victories against Juvenile FC and AFCON FC before playing out a 1-1 draw against Remo Stars and Ebdei FC in soccer championship organized to keep players fit ahead of league resumption after ongoing world cup in Brazil.
Speaking after his team’s participation, Supreme Court FC Technical Adviser, Fatai Osho expressed satisfaction with the organization of the week-long football event adding it afforded his players opportunity to improve.
Coach Osho who joined the Apex Boys mid-season in the current football year added “It was to see these boys dominate play in all the matches we played while the championship was on. I’m really happy with the progress we have made so far since we got to Ijebu Ode.
“We are actually set for the challenges ahead. All we need is to remain focused and determined to do more. Our management has done well by releasing money for this tour and is a worthwhile experience for all of us.”
With the league season’s resumption set for next weekend, the Supreme Court squad are back to Abuja to step up preparation.
