Samsunspor Dismiss Talk Aminu Umar Has Joined Balikesirspor
Published: July 14, 2014
Samsunspor have dismissed reports that claimed Aminu Umar has completed his shift to Balikesirspor, stressing that the Nigeria youth international remains on the books of the club.
But the First League side admitted that several teams are on the trail of the attacker, and have submitted bids which failed to meet the player’s valuation.
19 - year - old Aminu, the goleador at last year’s African Youth Championship, practiced with Samsunspor on Monday before leaving for camp in Erzurum.
According to Turkish media, the Red and White will move for Maccabi Netanya star Kayode Olarenwanju if his strike partner at the last Fifa Under 20s departs the club.
And that is if and only if an interested suitor meets Umar’s asking price of one million Euros.
