Angelo Ogbonna To Be Used As Makeweight In Deal To Bring Antonio Candreva To Juventus
Published: July 19, 2014
Italian - Nigerian defender Angelo Ogbonna could be used as makeweight in the deal to bring attacking midfielder Antonio Candreva to Juventus.
Tuttomercatoweb.com making reference to Leggo says Lazio supremo Claudio Lotito will agree to sell the Italy National Teamer to the Bianconeri if his transfer fee of 35 million Euros is met.
That cash may not be available to Juventus to play around with, and the club are hoping to test Lazio’s resolve to hold on to their star player by including Ogbonna as part of the deal.
The Serie A champions had earlier made an offer in the region of 23 million Euros which was below Candreva’s valuation.
Lazio are known to be long term admirers of Angelo Ogbonna, and had approached Torino for his services before they agreed to sell him to their city rivals last summer.
