Hapoel Ranana Forward Tony Nwakaeme Not Bothered About Transfer Talk
Published: July 20, 2014
Anthony Nwakaeme is not bothered about transfer talk linking him with a move away from Hapoel Ranana this summer, saying he is fully committed to the club, ahead of the start of the season in August.
In the close season, the Nigerian striker has been courted by the likes of Maccabi Netanya, Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Beer Sheva.
“I have resumed pre - season training with my team. For now, I am still with Hapoel Ranana, maybe I will continue with them for this season.
“No, it is not 100% if I will continue here, any move can happen, but for now I am still with them,” Tony Nwakaeme said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
He added : “I want to keep on working hard and do what I know what to do best which is football, and score more goals to help my team.”
While interest for the 25 - year - old from Israeli teams may have been put on ice, this portal understands that one of his intermediaries is in talks with an unnamed Portuguese club.
He still has a valid contract with Hapoel Ranana till the summer of 2016.
