Done Deal : Kenneth Omeruo Returns To Boro On Loan
Published: July 20, 2014
Chelsea have farmed out Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo to Middlesbrough on loan for an undisclosed period, the player himself announced through his official Twitter page.
The Brazil 2014 World Cup star recently renewed his Chelsea vows for an additional three seasons, but manager Jose Mourinho has not promised him first team football for the upcoming campaign.
And as a result, the Stamford Bridge outfit has loaned him to Boro to get used to the rigours of English football and get some minutes under his belt.
During the defender’s spell at Boro last term, he appeared 14 times in the English Championship and was booked twice.
The 20 - year - old was wrongly linked to Queens Park Rangers in recent days by a section of the media.
