Published: July 24, 2014
This is now official. Just as allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively revealed on Wednesday, today, Nigeria international Nosa Igiebor penned a three - year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv, which runs out in the summer of 2017.
The 23 - year - old had been courted by the Israeli champions for more than a month, before the club finally agreed terms with Real Betis over his purchase at the start of this week, while the personal terms offered were being studied.
The highlight of Nosa Igiebor’s first stint in Israel was winning the State Cup with Maccabi Tel Aviv’s bitter rival, Hapoel Tel Aviv in 2012.
He spent a season at the Bloomfield Stadium before he was snapped up by Spanish side Real Betis.
Lillestrom (Norway), Warri Wolves and Sharks are the other clubs that he has represented since he became a professional.
