Official : Jerry Mbakogu Seals Five - Year Contract With Carpi

Per a brief statement on its official website, Italian second - tier club Carpi has announced the hiring of Jerry Mbakogu on a five - year contract.

Last season, the soon - to - be 22 - year - old spent his fourth consecutive on loan away from Padova, dressing for Carpi, who failed to make the playoff rounds by just three points.

Before then, the Italian - Nigerian youngster represented Juve Stabia for three years, scoring 13 goals in 70 matches for The Wasps.

Jerry Mbakogu, who made his Serie B debut aged 17 years 10 months, had been on the wishlist of Bari in the last few days.
