Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report with certainty that the one - cap Nigeria international will become a player of Al Arabi, Qatar on Saturday, August 2.
The move to the Middle East would have been finalized days ago but Standard Liege delayed it to enable the Nigerian feature in their Champions League showdown with Panathinaikos on Wednesday.
And that shows how important Imoh Ezekiel is to the Jupiler League side, but the sack of money brought from Qatar left them with no choice but to part with their jewel.
The 20 - year - old is expected to put pen to paper on a four - year contract with Al Arabi, tying him to the club until June 30, 2018.
Ezekiel, a product of 36 Lion, was on parade for 90 minutes as Standard Liege defeated Sporting Charleroi 3 - 0 in their league opener last weekend.
