Published: July 29, 2014
In a brief statement released to allnigeriasoccer.com, out - of - favour Super Eagles custodian Dele Aiyenugba has pledged his loyalty to Israeli club, Bnei Yehuda.
One would have thought that the 30 - year - old would be seeking pastures new following the demotion of Bnei Yehuda from the Israeli Premier League at the end of last season.
But the former Enyimba shot-stopper did not even think twice when quizzed about his contract situation at the capital outfit, saying he is not ready to bring down the curtain on seven years with the Lions.
“Yes, I will be remaining with Bnei Yehuda for the upcoming season. I just want to finish the last year of my contract with them,” says Dele Aiyenugba to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Last term, the Bnei Yehuda number one was in between the pipes 33 times in the Ligat Haal.
Dele Aiyenugba will be hoping to propel the 1990 champions up the Premier League when the championship is concluded next summer.
