Chuks Akabueze Admits Odd Face Herculean Task Leapfrogging Molde
Published: July 29, 2014
Odd Grenland winger Chukwuma Bentley Akabueze has admitted that his team have a mountain to climb in their bid to catch up with Molde in the race for the Norwegian Premier League title.
The once upon a time Nigeria international returned for a second spell at Odd Grenland in March, penning a three - year contract that will run out at the end of the 2017 season.
“I think it is a right choice rejoining Odd instead of another team in Norway or elsewhere. I will be able to develop myself here before I move to another big team in Europe.
“The season has been okay for me. It is not an easy task catching up with Molde. Our major concern is to maintain our third position on the table,” says Bentley to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 25 - year - old has been involved in every single game contested by Odd Grenland in the Tippeligaen.
Third on the table Odd, who are 10 points behind Molde, will welcome Sandnes Ulf to the Skagerak Arena in their next league fixture on Sunday, August 3.
