Published: August 04, 2014
West Brom new signing Brown Ideye has sorted out problems encountered in obtaining a work permit that will enable him play in the English Premier League.
The Nigeria international would have missed the start of the new season if the document had not been issued.
The Baggies had announced his acquisition on a 3+1 year deal on July 19 for a fee of £ 10 million, but he failed to resume pre - season training with the club as a result of a visa hitch.
“So happy to announce that my visa has been issued, will join the team ASAP #wba,” Brown Ideye said on his official Twitter page.
In their opening match of the new season, West Brom will entertain Sunderland on August 16.
