Swansea Rubbish Reports Linking Ramon Azeez With The Club
Published: August 07, 2014
English Premier League outfit Swansea City have distanced themselves from reports at home and abroad suggesting that Almeria midfielder Ramon Azeez is on their radar this summer.
Ignoring the fact that the Nigeria international is NOT eligible for a work permit, earlier information claimed that the Welsh outfit had made a bid of £2.4m to land his signature.
Gareth Vincent, Football reporter at the South Wales Evening Post, said on Twitter : “Swans have also rejected talk they are in for Almeria’s Ramon Azeez.”
Before the World Cup, the ex Future Pro Academy starlet was proposed to Everton, but the Toffees abandoned his chase after an indifferent showing for the Super Eagles during the tournament.
The 21 - year - old is presently in Thailand, undergoing pre - season training with Almeria.
