Official : Shola Ameobi Pens One - Year Deal With Gaziantep Buyuksehir Belediyespor

The experienced striker had previously been linked with a plethora of teams in Australia, USA and China after ending his 19 years association with Newcastle United earlier in the summer.
“We want to establish an ambitious team in the league this season, and a strong team continues to strengthen by adding players.
“We have therefore tied Nigerian striker Shola Ameobi - from one of the strongest teams in England, Newcastle United - to us for one year,” the club said on its official website.
Shola Ameobi made his debut for Newcastle United in 2000, and went on to score 79 goals in 397 appearances.
For the national team of Nigeria, the 32 - year - old has netted twice in 9 matches.
