Official : Seyi Olofinjana Joins Solomon Owello At IK Start

The Lagos born central midfielder has been in the job market for up to eight months after his deal was not extended by Sheffield Wednesday.
Seyi Olofinjana has been convinced to sign on the dotted line with the Kristiansand based club by manager Mons Ivar Mjelde, the coach that brought him to Norway in 2003 after he was rejected by Anderlecht.
The former Super Eagles star was a huge success during his first adventure in Scandinavia, and after a year he was being tracked by a host of teams in Europe including Torino and Anderlecht ( the same Anderlecht ) before he chose Wolves.
The 34 - year - old has spent the last 10 years in the United Kingdom playing for clubs in the Premier League as well as the second - tier.
He joins Nigerian playmaker Solomon Owello at the Sør Arena, Kristiansand
