Ahmed Musa Vows To Pay Tribute To Injured Seydou Doumbia If He Scores Against Spartak

“Of course, it’s a big loss. We do not have enough of Seydou, because he is our leader. But we are all professional footballers and we are here to show our maximum, as well as find a way out of the most difficult situation.
“Do not worry - the skills of the game in attack I have since not lost. But in any case, the coach will decide, ” the 21 - year - old told championat.com.
The Brazil 2014 World Cup star , who is yet to open his goal account for the Russian champions this term, says if he scores against Spartak Moscow on Sunday, he will pay tribute to the injured Ivory Coast national teamer.
Musa added : “Who will I celebrate if I score against Spartak? In the first place, of course, with my teammates. At the same time I will look at the podium for Doumbia. If I suddenly see Seydou, then try to congratulate him on this.”
Ahmed Musa has found the back of the net twice against Spartak Moscow in the Russian championship, scoring in both the home and away games during the 2012 - 2013 season.
He is being used on the left side of midfield this season by manager Leonid Slutsky.
