IK Start Midfielder Seyi Olofinjana Satisfied With Debut Performance

Taking stock of his performance in his debut appearance for IK Start in the Norwegian Premier League, Seyi Olofinjana says he is satisfied, while admitting that he is yet to return to maximum fitness.
The same week his transfer was completed, the Nigeria international was handed a starting shirt in the encounter against Stromsgodset which finished 3 - 2 in favour of the visitors, with Belgian - Nigerian Marvin Ogunjimi scoring a brace for them.
“ We met a good team and we defended okay. The game had different phases, but overall we played well.

The 34 - year - old continued : “Being the first game, the OK. I missed a few touches which is usually easy for me, but I have not played the game a long time, so it takes some time. I’m surprised how well it went anyway.”
The former SK Brann midfielder was on parade at the Sør Arena (Kristiansand) for roughly 75 minutes before making way for Alexander Lind.
