Hapoel Tel Aviv On The Verge Of Signing Francis Benjamin
Published: August 19, 2014
Hapoel Tel Aviv are on the brink of securing the signature of Nigeria international Francis Benjamin.
The Heartland defender had previously informed allnigeriasoccer.com that an unnamed Israeli team were exploring ways to sign him before the end of the transfer market, and the identity has now been revealed.
In the January transfer window, Francis Benjamin was linked with a shift to another Israeli Premier League side Ironi Kiryat Shmona, but the proposed move fell through at the last minute after Heartland could not agree a transfer fee.
The 21 - year - old is expected to land in Israel any moment from now to continue negotiations with the management of Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Bearing in mind that the Reds’ Profit and Loss Account is in debit, they are hoping to sign the left - back on a season - long loan, with an option to buy.
