Official : Lazio Sell New Amuneke, Seyi Adeleke, To A - League Vice - Champions Western Sydney Wanderers
Published: August 19, 2014
With a note on the official website, Lazio have claimed that they have struck a deal with Western Sydney Wanderers over the transfer of Seyi Adeleke,, hailed in his homeland as the new Emmanuel Amuneke.
At the moment, the financial terms and the duration of contract have not been disclosed by both the Italian and Australian clubs, with the A - League vice - champions keeping sealed lips on the switch.
The 22 - year - old’s contract with Lazio had expired this summer but the capital outfit renewed the deal before selling him to the Asian Champions League quarter finalist, according to reports in the Italian media.
Assuming the Serie A side had released Seyi Adeleke without dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s, they would not have been able to sign another foreigner to replace him this window, per the rules of the championship.
Due to his lack of game time at Lazio, Seyi Adeleke was farmed out on loan to Pergocrema, Salernitana Calcio 1919 and FC Biel-Bienne in successive seasons.
The fair-skinned left-footed dreadlocks-wearing lad can line out as a winger, midfielder, attacker or left-wing-back
