Official : Bamidele Yampolsky Joins Hapoel Raanana
Published: August 20, 2014Israeli - Nigerian Bamidele Yampolsky has joined Premier League side Hapoel Ra’anana on undisclosed terms, the club announced on Tuesday.
Th 26 - year - old started his career with the youth team of Bnei Yehuda but never played for the first team before he transferred to Maccabi Netanya in 2004.
Two years later, he signed a professional contract with Maccabi Netanya and was credited with over 100 appearances for the club before switching to Maccabi Haifa.
The attacking midfielder, who has also defended the colours of Hapoel Haifa, gained 22 caps for Israel’s youth teams, scoring three goals.
Yampolsky is eligible to represent the national teams of Israel, Russia and Nigeria. He has a Nigerian mom.
