Italian third - tier side Forli are in advanced negotiations with Novara over the signing of Christian Jidayi, with a positive announcement expected to be made in the coming days.

The defender has been on the books of Novara for the past five years, but due to his lack of first team opportunities, he has been farmed out on loan to Lecco, VdA St.Christophe and Forli during that period.
His brother, William, who is also a professional footballer, turned out for Cittadella last term.
Christian Jidayi has played professionally for Cesena, Bellaria–Igea, Mantova and Bassano amongst others.
