From Switzerland With Love, FC Basel Dazzler Eseosa Aigbogun Tips Falconets To Defeat Germany
Published: August 24, 2014
Switzerland international Eseosa Aigbogun, who has Nigerian blood flowing in her veins, has tipped the Falconets to defeat Germany’s Under 20 Women’s National Team and win the Fifa Under 20s on Sunday night.
Now 21, Aigbogun featured for the Swiss ladies at the last edition of the Fifa Under 20 World Cup held in Japan, and was on target in their opening group fixture against New Zealand.
“It is going to be an exciting game but this year I think Nigeria will win. They should just play with passion just as they did in previous matches.
“I have played against Germany before, not this particular team. They switch very fast between defense and attack . They have many players who play at the highest level and because of this, they have more experience.
“But Nigerians play with more heart, ” the FC Basel attacker said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Eseosa Aigbogun has 11 international caps for Switzerland’s senior squad, with 316 minutes of game time under her belt.
