Exclusive : Isaac Success Likely To Make Granada Debut Today
Published: August 31, 2014
According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com’s editorial staff, Nigeria youth - teamer Isaac Success is likely to make his La Liga debut for Granada on Sunday evening when they square off with Elche.
The teenager made the 18 - man squad list for the clash against Deportivo La Coruna, and the manager would have handed him his competitive debut in the closing stages of that game but changed his mind.
Isaac Success was told to warm up by coach Joaquín Caparrós as Granada searched for a winner, with the game level at 1 - 1.
However, that substitution never took place because Jean Babin netted the match winner for the Andalusian outfit in the 77th minute.
Looking to shore up his back line, the coach introduced a defender, Dimitri Foulquier, instead of the Nigerian starlet.
Based on the training sessions held by Granada in the last few days, everything indicates Success will feature against Elche today.
The 18 - year - old scored 3 goals in 5 matches for Granada II last term.
