Granada Starlet Isaac Success Delighted To Make La Liga Debut
Published: September 01, 2014
Isaac Success has expressed his delight at making his professional debut for Granada, after he tasted 90 minutes of action in their 1 - 1 draw with Elche on Sunday night.
Until now, the Nigeria youth international was an unused substitute on three occasions in the La Liga while he has recorded 3 goals in 6 appearances for Granada II, who play in the third - tier.
“The match was very good for me. This is my first game in La Liga and I played for 90 minutes. It was a tough match, I am not happy that we conceded late.
“I’d made the bench previously, so I am happy to start yesterday’s game. The coach trusts my abilities, and I know I’ll continue playing more games in future.
“No, I was not nervous before the game because I am confident of my abilities. I have played at the Under 17 World Cup and for the Golden Eaglets, that helped me,” says Isaac Success to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The Udinese loanee arrived Granada in March and has progressed through the Reserve Team of the Andalusian outfit.
Granada are among the seven teams yet to be defeated in La Liga after two rounds.
