Mikel Plays Down Rumours He Is Set To Marry Olga Diyachenko
Published: September 06, 2014
Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has played down rumours that he is set to get married to his girlfriend Olga Diyachenko, after proposing to her.
The Nigeria international has not denied the fact that they are both an item, but has stressed that he did not propose to the Russian last month as being speculated in the local media.
And he is pleading with Nigerian ladies to stop harassing his girlfriend on social media.
“Yes, she is my girlfriend, but I have not proposed to her. If that happens, it will not be hidden and everyone will know.
“I’m begging Nigerian girls to please leave her alone. Some Nigerian girls have already been attacking her (on social media) since this fake story came out,” John Obi Mikel told colinudoh.com.
It is confirmed that Mikel previously dated ex Delta Soap Queen Sandra Uche Okagbue.
