Ownership Tussle Threatens Musa Mohammed Move To Europe, FC Heart And Sardaunuan Warring Over Defender
Published: September 12, 2014
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the ownership tussle involving FC Heart Academy, Abuja and Sardaunuan FC Kano may scuttle Musa Mohammed’s proposed move to a European club in the near future.
The ex Golden Eaglets skipper, who is represented by Adam Mohammed, has been training with an unnamed foreign team for the past couple of weeks, with a view to switch in the January transfer window.
“Before the Fifa Under 17 World Cup, Adam Mohammed collected Musa from my team, Sardaunuan.
“There is no way a player who has played in the league for two years will find his way into the Golden Eaglets, so his sporting rights was informally transferred to FC Heart without him signing a contract
“Musa Mohammed has never played a single game for Hearts, his profile was forged. I have not heard from Adam Mohammed for a long time to tell me his plans for my player.
“This is the same thing Adam Mohammed did in the case involving Macauley Chrisantus. When the one million dollars transfer fee was received from Hamburg, he did not remit a single cent to his nursery team,”Kabiru Ali Mazado, GM of Sardaunuan, told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Musa Mohammed joined Sardaunuan FC in February 2011, and his first match for the club was against FC Lokoja in the Amateur League, Division One.
The Nigeria Football Federation tried to settle the dispute between FC Heart Academy, Abuja and Sardaunuan FC, ruling that 30 percent of the transfer income of the Nigeria Under 20 international should go to the coffers of the Kano based side.
However, that verdict by the NFF is still being contested by Kabiru Ali Mazado.
