Nigeria international Eddy Onazi will pen a fresh four - year deal with Lazio before the next two weeks, Corriere della Sera is reporting.
The central midfielder and his camp have been holding high level discussions with the Biancocelesti hierarchy over a new contract in the last couple of weeks, and this has yielded dividends.
However, in the new agreement , Eddy Onazi will pocket 700,000 Euros every year (approximately =N=0.56B after four years) , instead of the 1 million Euros annual wage that he had demanded.
The 21 - year - old has been on the books of the capital outfit since 2012, rising through the ranks before he was promoted to the first team.
Since making his debut for Lazio against Atalanta in May 2012, the former My People FC ace has chalked up 45 appearances in the Serie A.
