Coaches Appeal To NFF Congress

The Chairman, Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA), Federal Capital Territory Chapter, Godwin Bamigboye has appealed to the Congress of the Nigeria Football Federation to unanimously vote for the representation of the Association on the Board of the Federation come September 30 election.
He made this appeal during a visit to the Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association, Saeed Musa Talle.
He told the Football Association Chairman that the Nigeria Football Coaches stand solidly behind its President, Bitrus Bewarang, whom he described as a man who has contributed immensely to football development in Nigeria.
Bamigboye stated unequivocally that any vote for Bewarang translates to love for the football coaches, who undoubtedly are the heartbeat of football.
He commended the football stakeholders for their maturity in checking the crises in the Nigeria Football Federation which he earlier described as a virus that should be contained with immediate effect.
He admonished members not to rest on their oars, urging them to lay down a new foundation for the growth of football in Nigeria.
He advised the congress to apply adequate care in the unfolding recruitment into the Board of the Federation and warned that if members are not meticulous in their choice, it will tantamount to another crisis either soon after or later.
In his response, the Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association, Saeed Musa Talle promised to personally talk to his colleagues in the 36 States of Nigeria to see the appeal coming from the Coaches as a genuine request that should be granted by all lovers of the game.
