Sani Emmanuel Arrives In Israel For Beitar Jerusalem Test
Published: September 26, 2014
Golden Ball winner at the Fifa Under 17 World Cup hosted by Nigeria in 2009, Sani Emmanuel, has arrived Israel to begin training with Beitar Jerusalem, with a view to bagging a contract.
The attacker, a product of My People FC, is currently a free agent after failing to extend his contract with Lazio at the end of last season.
“I am delighted to be here and want to be part of Beitar Jerusalem. I had a few offers but I saw this big club Betar Jerusalem with a crazy crowd behind it and I’d love to be a part of it.
“Watched excerpts from the game against Maccabi Haifa, in an atmosphere that every player wants to be part of and I hope everything will work out,” Sani Emmanuel was quoted as saying by Sports Walla.
Beitar Jerusalem can still sign the ex Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles star as they have one more spot for foreigners before their quota is exhausted.
