Macauley Chrisantus Nets Debut Goal For Sivasspor
Macauley Chrisantus celebrated wearing the jersey of Sivasspor for the first time in an official match by scoring on his debut.<br /><br />The former Nigeria youth international joined the Turkish Super Lig club from Spanish Las Palmas in the close season, but failed to feature for the club until yesterday due to a thigh muscle injury.<br /><br />After Chrisantus’s introduction in the 55th minute, with Sivasspor trailing Galatasaray by two goals, it took him only 15 minutes to open his goal account for his new team.<br /><br />The 24 - year - old’s first appearances for Sivasspor ended in a 2 - 1 defeat, but manager Roberto Colous would be delighted the Nigerian has shown a glimpse of his qualities.<br /><br />Nigeria international John Utaka was also on parade at the Türk Telekom Arena (Istanbul).<br /><span class=\"notranslate\"><br />Photo Credit : sivasspor.org.tr</span><br />
