Published: September 27, 2014
The former Nigeria youth international joined the Turkish Super Lig club from Spanish Las Palmas in the close season, but failed to feature for the club until yesterday due to a thigh muscle injury.
After Chrisantus’s introduction in the 55th minute, with Sivasspor trailing Galatasaray by two goals, it took him only 15 minutes to open his goal account for his new team.
The 24 - year - old’s first appearances for Sivasspor ended in a 2 - 1 defeat, but manager Roberto Colous would be delighted the Nigerian has shown a glimpse of his qualities.
Nigeria international John Utaka was also on parade at the Türk Telekom Arena (Istanbul).
