The Nigerian forward registered his name on the score- sheet in the 12th minute before setting up Denys Oliynyk seven minutes later for the second goal of the game.
Abiola Dauda was delighted with his recent form for his new club, whom he joined from Red Star Belgrade in the summer transfer market.
He told allnigeriasoccer.com : “It was great for us we started well and got the first and second goal early. It is a lot of hard work I put in during my time out of the game.
“And I also came to a place where they believed in me, so I am glad that I am repaying them.”
In their next fixture six days from today, Vitesse will entertain ADO Den Haag, who pay the wages of Dutch - Nigerian striker Segun Owobowale.
