Published: October 01, 2014
FC Midtjylland winger Rilwan Hassan will spend at least six weeks on the
sidelines after damaging knee ligaments in his last Superliga fixture
against Vestsjælland .
The 23 - year - old had to make way for Izunna Uzochukwu in the 84th minute at the MCH Arena on Sunday after he felt pains, and additional tests have shown that the injury was very serious.
“It’s really too bad for Rilwan. He’s come back from an injury and has been really playing strong.
“He has strengthened competition in the front places, and of course it’s a loss for the team.
“First of all, we regret however on Rilwan’s behalf, but we are confident that he will come back even stronger, ” says coach
Glen Riddersholm to the official website.
Rilwan Hassan has played 7 games this season, including 5 starts, scoring in matches against Nordsjælland and Brondby.
