Official : Leon Balogun Joins Darmstadt 98 For Remainder Of The Season

Through official channels, German 2 Bundesliga high - flyers Darmstadt 98 have announced that they have captured the signature of one - cap Nigeria international Leon Balogun, 26.
The defensive all - rounder has penned a contract that ties him to the club until the end of the current season.
Speaking to the official website after the transfer was completed, Leon Balogun said : “I am of course pleased that everything went so fast. For me that’s a huge thing to be able to finally stand again on the pitch.”
Head coach Dirk Schuster added : “With his first division and second division experience, Leon Balogun brings additional quality to our squad.
“He fits perfectly with our requirements and will intensify the competition This is exactly what we want.”
For the remainder of this season, the former Werder Bremen and Dusseldorf defender will sport the number 14 shirt.
