FC Midtjylland Midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu Not Worried By Substitute Role

24 - year - old Izunna Uzochukwu is not worried that he is has failed to start two of the last four matches contested by FC Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga, stressing that he has nothing to prove.
The arrival of Finland international Tim Sparvs this summer from Greuther Fürth has pushed the Nigerian midfielder down the pecking order in recent matches.
“I know that I always give my best. I do not think my coming off has anything to do with what I have achieved. I do not feel that I have something to prove when I’m on the field,”says Izunna to bold.dk.
“If I do not start, I sit ready to give 100 percent when I enter. We have a very strong squad with many strong players, all of which can contribute something.”
The central midfielder started against Hobro last Friday, and he assisted FCM defeat the opponents 5 - 1.
His contract with the Danish Superliga vice - champions will expire at the end of the 2014 - 2015 campaign.
