Jakob Poulsen Recommends Teammate Sylvester Igboun To Denmark National Team
Published: October 10, 2014
Denmark international Jakob Poulsen has opined that his FC Midtjylland teammate Sylvester Igboun merits a call - up to the national team of the Scandinavian country.
Recently chosen as the most outstanding player in Denmark for the month of September, Igboun and compatriot Izunna Uzochukwu have been in Denmark for close to eight years since they were plucked from nursery team FC Ebedei in January 2007.
“ I understand if they initially aim to represent Nigeria. It is their home and where their family is. But no doubt they would be exciting to be with.
“We do not have such serious talk about it yet, but we joke about it a littel and it would be cool if it was an option,” says Jakob Poulsen to bold.dk.
24 - year - old Sly is the second leading marksman in the Danish Superliga, having netted 6 goals in 10 matches for table toppers FCM.
