Important Sudan Defender, Nizar Hamid Ruled Out Of Nigeria Clash
Published: October 10, 2014
His injury is a big blow to the manager of the national team, Mohamed Abdallah, who had planned to build his defense around the Al - Hilal star.
So important is Nizar Hamid to the Sudan squad that he started all their four matches at the 2012 African Cup of Nations.
Ahead of the game on Saturday, the North Africans have been fine - tuning their strategies by holding training sessions since Monday, sometimes in unfavourable weather conditions.
Sudan have let in five goals in their first two matches in Group A, with four of them conceded in the second half, meaning they have a tendency to lose concentration.
