Alfred Effiong Celebrates Scoring 100 Premier League Goals

Nigerian striker Alfred Effiong bagged his 100th career goal in the Maltese Premier League as Qormi defeated Floriana 4 - 2 in the 8th round of matches in the championship on Saturday.
A product of Command Secondary School, Ipaja, the 29 - year - old has been in the Island Nation for the past nine years representing Marsaxlokk, Valletta and Qormi amongst others.
Effiong has said that he was thrilled to get to the milestone, and has dedicated this achievement to people close to his heart.
“It is a great feeling to reach a mark like that. Special thanks to my wife and loved ones. Yes, I was aware I was on 99 goals before the game today.
“The 100th goal was the second thing on my mind because the three points are more important. About if I will be given a present, I know it will come,” said Alfred Effiong to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The experienced forward scored 19 goals in the Premier League last term.
