Aalesund Striker, Leke James : It Was A Fair Result
Published: October 19, 2014
The Color Line Stadium outfit left it late to secure three maximum points, thanks to an 89th minute goal from Peter Larsen.
Before then, two Nigerian players had registered their names on the score- sheet, with Leke James given AaFK the lead in the 13th minute before ex Flying Eagles play-maker Solomon Owello restored parity for the home team.
“ It was a fair result though Owello equalized for them in the closing minutes. It would not have been nice if we were to leave without at least a point,” said Leke James to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Leke James has now racked up 7 goals from 20 games in the championship, 3 strikes less than his record goal haul which he set in the 2013 campaign.
Assuming the teams in the relegation spots win all their remaining games, AaFK need 7 more points to be certain of playing in the 2015 Tippeligaen.
