Ahmed Musa WRITES OFF Manchester City Ahead Champions League Showdown
Published: October 20, 2014In - form Nigerian forward Ahmed Musa has been reviewing CSKA Moscow’s Champions League clash at home to Manchester City at a press conference held today.
He has written off the chances of the Citizens defeating the Russian champions by pointing out that they have struggled in their last few English Premier League games.
“In fact, in the last two matches of the EPL, they have looked unconvincing. I know the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent. I can say that the opponent’s defense is not as strong.
“I think that City are weaker. This year, the British were not as strong as the same Bayern Munich,” the 22 - year - old was quoted saying by sport - express. ru during the press conference.
Having said that, Musa acknowledged that Manchester City have some good players in their squad.
“In Manchester City, they have good footed players, so it is hard to run across them but I’ll try,” Musa said.
CSKA Moscow can kiss good bye to the knock out rounds of the competition if they lose to their English counterparts on Tuesday night.
