Chidi Omeje Insists Dalkurd Still Have A Chance Of Promotion
Published: October 20, 2014
Chidi Omeje believes his Swedish team Dalkurd still have the chance of being promoted at the end of the season.
With only two rounds left to play before the end of the Division One Norra, Dalkurd trail second position AFC United by 4 points, meaning a win for their rivals next weekend will rule them out of the promotion mix. As simple as that!
“There is hope because AFC United have some tough games to play. It is true they have to win just one more game but anything can happen.
“We need a miracle and we are keeping our fingers crossed. Our target before the start of the season was to be promoted to the Superretan,” Omeje told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Chidi Omeje, who has 10 goals to his name this season, comes off contract with Dlakurd at the end of this month.
However, the 24 - year - old is likely to extend his stay at Domnarvsvallen for two more months, as the final game of the season is on November 2 against Vasalund.
