Sani Emmanuel Agrees One - Year Beitar Jerusalem Deal
Published: October 21, 2014
The Israeli Premier League side have retained the option to extend his stay at the Teddi Malcha Stadium for an additional two seasons when he comes off contract on June 30, 2015.
His imminent switch to Beitar Jerusalem has all but ended speculation surrounding his future, having being linked with possible moves to Lechia Gdansk(Poland), Panathinaikos (Greece) and Partizan Tirana (Albania) in the last 15 months.
A product of My People FC, Sani Emmanuel was farmed out on loan to U.S. Salernitana 1919 and FC Biel-Bienne during his time with Lazio due to his lack of playing opportunities at the Serie A side.
The Golden Ball winner at the 2009 Fifa Under 17 World Cup was courted by the likes of Tottenhan Hotspur and Chelsea after the tournament held in Nigeria.
