Joel Obi Targets First Serie A Goal Against Cesena
Published: October 24, 2014
Joel Obi has granted an interview to the official website of Inter Milan, saying he is eagerly looking forward to Sunday’s clash against Cesena in the Serie A.
The Nigeria international was an unused substitute on Thursday night as the Nerazzurri played a goalless draw with Saint-étienne in the Europa League, but he was in action last weekend against Napoli in the Italian championship.
“We must start again from the field and give everything without thinking about the past. It is always exciting to wear the Inter shirt, a joy when you are called upon.
“Emotion passes when you get in the game. When I play live at the San Siro, great,” Joel Obi told Inter Channel.
He added : “Cesena? I hope to score goals, it is important for a player, I want to try to win. At this time we have to think to make points and nothing else, put the rest aside.”
