Anthony Ujah On Target For Cologne In Win Over Hoffenheim
Published: November 08, 2014
Cologne won for the third time in four games following their 4 - 3 victory over TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon in the German Bundesliga.
After only two minutes, Hoffenheim took the lead through Adam Szalai, but the Billy Goats replied almost immediately, thanks to Pawel Olkowski’s goal three minutes later.
The 2 Bundesliga champions raced into a two - goal lead after Lehmann (12th min) and Nigeria international Anthony Ujah (35th min) scored.
But a brace from Roberto Firmino leveled the scoreline before the end of the first half, and seven minutes from time Pawel Olkowski netted the match winner for Cologne with a shot from distance.
Anthony Ujah has now netted 3 goals in the topflight this season, which is a goal more than he scored for Mainz in his debut season in the Bundesliga three years ago.
After 11 rounds in the Bundelsiga, Cologne occupy the tenth position in the standings, with 15 points in the kitty.
