Italy Coach Watches Stefano Okaka Score Against Milan

Sampdoria attacker Stefano Okaka has played down suggestions that Italy manager Antonio Conte came to run the rule over him during the Serie A game between his club and AC Milan at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris yesterday.
The Italian - Nigerian netted his second goal of the season, as Sampdoria held the Rossoneri to a 2 - 2 draw.
“Conte in the stands? I do not know if he came to see me. I’m happy. Growth? I have always been convinced of my qualities and maturity, I’m able to take them in the field.
“The confidence of the coach is definitely important. Yes, we struggled a bit to start at one point and they were able to equalize, ” says Stefano Okaka to RAI.
Even though he has caps for Italy’s youth teams, Stefano Okaka can still turn out for the Super Eagles, as he his parents are Nigerians and he has not represented the senior team of the country of his birth.
