Bayern Munich Star David Alaba Hails Matchwinner Rubin Okotie

Speaking after scoring the winning goal in Austria’s hard fought 1 - 0 win over Russia on Saturday in Euro 2016 qualifying, 1860 Munich attacker Rubin Okotie has refused to criticize the coach for failing to name him in the starting eleven.
Manager Marcello Koller introduced the Austrian - Nigerian just before the hour mark, and he registered his name on the score - sheet for the second game in succession after hitting target in the 73rd minute.
“Every player wants to play, but I understand and accept the decision of the coaching staff,” Okotie was quoted as saying by Krone.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich defender David Alaba, who was unavailable for selection as a result of injury, has hailed Okotie for netting the game winning goal.
“I am very proud of him, ” Alaba said briefly.
After four rounds, Austria lead Group G of Euro 2016 qualifying ahead of Sweden and Russia after accumulating 10 points.
