Adigun Salami Feared For Career
Published: November 18, 2014
SønderjyskE midfielder Adigun Salami has not kicked a ball in an official match this season due to injury.
In April, the ex Midtjylland talent underwent surgery to repair the damaged knee, and he had feared that his career had come to a premature end.
“When I got to know that a break of eight to nine months awaited me, I was afraid that I did not get to play football again. I did not believe I would come back, because this is a really long time, I’ve been injured.
“ I hope I get to play games this season. Right now I just have to be ready for when I have it,” Salami told Danish newspaper BT.
His contract with SønderjyskE is set to expire at the end of the 2014 - 2015 season.
