KFC Uerdingen Skipper Robin Udegbe Out Till January

KFC Uerdingen goalkeeper Robin Udegbe will not be available for selection for the German fourth - tier side until the new year after picking up an injury in the 3 - 0 defeat to Borussia Mönchengladbach II last weekend.
The German - Nigerian has been praised by his manager, Murat Salar, for playing through the pain barrier against the opponents on Saturday.
“The game in 2014 is definitely over for Robin. It’s absolutely crazy that the boy has played against Gladbach with this injury.
“The pain afterwards were correspondingly large. Fortunately, Robin does not have to undergo surgery. He is to prepare again in January,” coach Murat Salar was quoted as saying by reviersport.de.
The ex VVV Venlo custodian has been in between the pipes 16 times this season, conceding 21 goals.
