Nigerian attacker Daniel Chima is upbeat ahead of Sunday’s Norwegian Cup final , which sees defending champions Molde facing off against Odd Grenland in Oslo.
Apart from Chima, the other Nigerian interest in the showpiece event is out - of - favor Super Eagles winger Chuks Bentley Akabueze.
“I don’t really have to tell the coach to watch out for Bentley because the coach and we the players already know what he’s capable of. If we all stick to our plans, I think we will be fine,” says Daniel Chima to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The mood has been fantastic all the way and the preparations have gone very well despite having 7 of our regulars on national assignment, we are prepared very well ahead of tomorrow’s game.”
The form guide suggests Molde got their foot off the pedal after wrapping up the Tippeligaen title, having lost two of their last four matches prior to the encounter at the Ullevaal Stadion.
“Tomorrow’s game is as important and every single game we’ve played this season. The plan is to go all out regardless we already have the league title,” the Molde number 27 concluded.
23 - year - old Daniel Chima has netted three times in the Norwegian Cup this season.
