Harrison Omokoh Wins Amateur League In Ukraine
Published: November 22, 2014One of the most famous Nigerian players to grace the Ukrainian Premier League, Harrison Omokoh, has won the amateur league organized by the Kiev Regional Football Federation.
Football.ua citing the official website of the association informs that the veteran represented the village of Falcon Mihailovka-Rubezhivka.
Officially still a 32 - year - old, Omokoh joined Dynamo Kiev in 2000, but had to be farmed out on loan to Hapoel Beer Sheva and Arsenal Kiev due to his lack of playing opportunities.
In fact, the defender did not play any official game for Kievites before severing ties with the capital side in 2003.
But he enjoyed successful spells at FC Vorskla Poltava, FC Volyn Lutsk, SC Tavriya Simferopol and FC Zorya Luhansk.
Harrison Omokoh has not played professionally for the past three years.
